Parker Estate Terra Rossa Cabernet Sauvignon 2022

A Cabernet that has, as per the normal register with this grape variety, spent 12 months in 100% French oak, of which 50% is new. We are at that stage where the evergreen, young Cab Sav has started shaking off the vegetal vestige, showing what is truly hiding underneath: a mix of polished, well-ripened cassis, Java plums, black currants, and wild black cherries. An indication of smokiness and cinnamon from the oak amalgamates well with the fruity bounty. The chunky tannins, that true vein of natural acidity, and an additional liquorice-like mid palate are the hallmarks of this medium-bodied Cabernet with a relatively conservative length but a clear purpose: that of satisfying the thirsty quench of everyone, every day.
