Riposte Adelaide Hills En Garde Pinot Noir 2025

Share

Coming from an excellent, dry vintage, the ‘En Garde’ packs a punch with flavour while still being modest with alcohol. It quickly reveals sour cherry, black cherry and violets, with violet prettiness and forest floor earthiness developing with some time in the glass. The fruit is bright and delicious, with a vibrancy in the mouth and weight on the palate that doesn’t immediately scream “Pinot”, but with food, there’s a certain delicacy on show. It’s still quite young but it has the bones to last for at least another 6-8 years and to develop nicely with careful cellaring.
