This superb expression of McLaren Vale Shiraz illustrates the region’s more subtle side and provides exceptional value. Aromas are poised, focussed and slowly unwind to reveal leather, earth and blackberry with meaty complexity plus a tinge of mocha oak. More medium weight than full, it then delivers a streamlined blend of liquorice and spicy flavours well supported by lacy tannins through to a long and engaging finish. Seriously good and will drink well for some time to come.
