The key in this cooler year was to select the best fruit. It might have reduced quantity but the result has been very good for those makers prepared to take a hit on volume to get quality. Comes from Forest Grove well to the south of Margaret River town. It’s a distinctly linear chardonnay displaying a combination of textural richness and fine purity. Regular battonage on yeast lees and solids contributed to the textural mouth feel. Oak has been well managed. High class chardonnay, this.
