Peos Estate Four Aces Chardonnay 2023


Wild fermentation was followed by nine months maturation in French oak. Very pale straw in colour, the nose yields minerals and matchsticks, florals, spices and orange rind notes. There is a hint of chalk in the background, shrouded by white peach notes. Good focus with a lovely texture, there is focus and weight here. Impressive length, this should drink beautifully over the next five to eight years. So much to like here.
