Pirathon Gold Label Shiraz 2021

From the time the deep dark colours reveal themselves in the glass you know you’re heading into powerful fruit concentration territory. This is pure opulence but presented with control and poise. It’s from a single northern Barossa vineyard in this excellent season. Masses of dark plummy blackberry-laden fruit with a decent hit of oak in support. The tannins are quite precise and fine but do their bit along a seamless palate that extends effortlessly to a long finish.
