Pirramimma Constance Shiraz 2022

Share

Terrific season in McLaren Vale has contributed to this outstanding Shiraz. There’s real power here, but there’s poise and panache that capture so much of McLaren Vale in good seasons. Aromas of plums and blackberry burst out of the glass, while some slightly mocha-like roasted characters add further complexity. The palate is rich and supple, with a slightly cedary, spicy character adding nuances to the finish. Remains impeccably balanced and poised, with great length. It has great cellaring potential, but perhaps in the next seven or eight years, it will be hitting what I think is the best drinking time.
