Pirramimma Heritage Cabernet Sauvignon 2022

While 2021 was a stunning vintage in McLaren Vale, 2022 is very much a match in terms of quality – feast on the riches while they exist! A maroon hue with edges of dark red, the nose offers us hints of truffles, cassis, blackberries, bay leaves, cigar box notes, and the influence of a little toasty oak, with nutmeg and spice. A linear style with good focus, the wine shows fine acidity, sleek tannins and is of medium length. We will see further improvement over the next eight to ten years.
