Pirramimma Heritage GSM 2022

An utterly compelling Grenache Shiraz Mourvèdre from an excellent vintage in McLaren Vale, this is a deep maroon/purple in colour. A plush, slightly earthy style, the nose reveals notes of chocolate with a mix of red and black fruits, root vegetables, cold tea, cassis, bay leaves and aniseed. There is a supple texture through to soft yet chewy tannins. A bright flick of acidity runs the length, which is impressive in itself. Lots to like here. Enjoy this over the next ten to twelve years.
