A Shiraz very much of its time, flowing easily, confidently with supple tannins and generous in fruit and spice. Dark berries, dark chocolate, dark undergrowth – there is definitely a dark theme happening here – earth, dark spices and blackstrap liquorice. But it’s not all dark, there is liveliness, too. Gently toasty, woody spiced oak adds some extra class. Runs long, runs smooth. All up, good depth and an elegant structure are a winning combination. Hold on to it or open it – either way you win.
