Precious Little Marananga Shiraz 2021

Share

The grapes for this wine come from a section of a single vineyard in the Marananga sub-region of the Barossa, with thirty-year-old vines. 10% whole bunches, 40% whole berries, the wine spent two-and-a-half years in a mix of French oak puncheons with 40% new and the rest two and three years of age. A vibrant maroon colour here. Notes of dried herbs, plums and mulberries, chocolate, redcurrants and good oak integration. There is a dusting of cocoa powder. Good intensity on a very long finish. Early complexity is already evident. Zesty acidity and good focus, there is a juicy palate here. Enjoy over the next eight to ten years.
