Purple Hands Colours the South Pinot Blanc 2020

Share

Fulfilling the Purple Hands mantra of single vineyard expressions, this captivating wine, sourced from the Barritt vineyard in the Barossa Ranges, has a fascinating journey in the winery – Craig Stansborough at the helm. Whole bunch pressed with different cuts going to four separate barrels for indigenous fermentation, then five months on lees. What has resulted is very smart: aromas that suggest pear, musk, grapefruit and tonic water with a palate that shows a clever balance of concentration and mouthfeel, acidity sitting underneath to allow medium weight structures and light talc textures to wrap it all together. Delicious.
