Purple Soul Anchor of Oceanus Shiraz 2019

A high-octane super saturated Shiraz from McLaren Vale in what was a very good year. In many ways a throwback to a bygone period of ripe dark fruits, a decent hit of warming alcohol and plenty of oak in support. Layered with plum, licorice and spicy dark chocolate fruits. The alcohol is quite high but the wine retains a vibrancy and energy.
