Riversdale Estate Blanc de Blanc 2017

A bright and lively cool climate, Chardonnay-based sparkling – the kind that Tasmania does so well – that carries with it the benefit of aging on yeast lees. The result is a vintage sparkling, fine in bead and boasting a wealth of expressive aromas and flavours. Nice biscuits and fresh-baked pastry, citrus, red apple mix with gentle florals and rockpool notes. Shows poise and a subtle complexity with a solid core of fresh fruit intensity delivered with a nutty complexity. But that cool acidity and mineral, oyster shell tang, boy, really resonates! What a delight. Impressive.
