Riversdale Estate Pisces Chardonnay 2023

Share

A wine for the Pisces in your life? As a Libran, I have to say that it very much appealed to me, too. Fine in flavour, firm in line and length, this is one steely young Chardonnay. White peach, green apple and grapefruit with a bright lemon sorbet tang, and just a whisper of spice. Flavours work their way around a developing texture on the middle palate, but it is early days. There is little or no obvious oak in play here. Tassie cool climate acidity is on show and while acid nerds such as myself will enjoy Pisces now, a little more time in bottle will loosen the acid strings and release more enjoyment.
