From the Karridale and Wilyabrup districts of Margaret River, this delightful Chardonnay opens with lovely nutty notes reminiscent of grilled cashews. There is oak evident with the wine having spent 9 months in new French barriques, but it is integrating well. The palate is all peaches with a soft, creamy texture and very good balance plus a flick of underlying acidity. A quality Margaret River Chardonnay with a promising future. For me, 93, but that should climb in the coming years.
