Wolf Blass Platinum Label Medlands Vineyard Shiraz 2016

Share

Grown in the central north of the Valley, this single vineyard expression is, in a word, a powerhouse Barossa shiraz in any language with every aspect amplified. A huge initial wave of oak influenced choco/mocha, it is rich with spiced compote dark plums and a palate that echoes these elements with complex tannins and a long-lasting finish reverberating that chocolate and dark fruit mix. To drink now, get this into a jug or a decanter for a good few hours. Or patience will greatly reward after 5 years and onwards to 20.
