Rosenthal Garten Series Cabernet Sauvignon 2019

This was a bit of a hold your nerve vintage but the result if you did was excellent, especially down in the Great Southern. This captures the typical savoury blackcurrant aromas of the variety on the nose. The palate is tightly held with a sinewy tannin thread and fine-grained oak working well with the linear fruit intensity. It’s neatly balanced with the structure to support medium to longer cellaring. Make sure you let this one breathe first – it makes quite a difference.
