Rowlee R Series Pinot Noir 2023

This is Rowlee’s Reserve Pinot Noir, using the best fruit they have from their exceptional high altitude vineyards. It smells like a garden full of red roses, and fresh cranberries, with an orchard of red apples in the next field. A deeper earthy tone keeps you diving back into the glass for another sniff. Here you’ll find fennel seeds, dried thyme and button mushrooms. In the mouth it’s a lighter bodied style boosted by excellent flavour intensity that is still looking very youthful with tangy redcurrants, strawberries and cherries leading the flavours, with 15% whole bunch contributing a Bouquet Garni complexity. Powder-fine tannins, a slightly chalky texture and precise, integrated acidity wrap up an already beautiful wine that will also reward patience.
