Santa d’Sas Ish… Pinot Noir 2022

The King Valley may be better known for sparkling wine made from its Pinot Noir, but that does not mean that there are not some fine examples, worthy of your attention, grown here. A pale and fading red/garnet hue, the nose immediately offers savoury notes with mushrooms, spices, crushed herbs, animal flesh and undergrowth characters. Some bright acidity to be found here, in a wine of medium length with a gentle finish. Enjoy over the next couple of years.
