Grown and crafted by father and son Justin and Harry Scanlon in the Carey Gully district of the wider Piccadilly Valley sub-region of the Adelaide Hills, this is made up with four Pinot clones; in this cooler vintage vine yields were reduced in the vineyard to achieve a set of clear and refined Pinot aromas and flavours. Squished red berries with a backdrop of bushland florals, leaves and bark, delicately expressed and easily sipped, not necessarily for deep contemplation or analysis and rather as a friendly glass beside charcuterie and similarly dressed pizza.
