Schild Estate Angus Brae Single Vineyard Shiraz 2022

From a hillside vineyard north of Lyndoch, the wine is an opaque purple. The nose oozes notes of chocolate, blackberries, plums, cherries, bay leaves and roast meats. It is a plush, generous and approachable style, dense but neatly balanced. Decent length, satiny tannins and a lingering finish all contribute to an exciting Shiraz, which will impress for at least the next six to eight years.
