Schild Estate Cabernet Sauvignon 2021

From the three Schild Estate vineyards. Blackberries, hawthorn and thistle. Prune plums, boot polish and crushed cloves. Preserved vine leaf, capers and black olive with old spice and gravelly tar. A juicy wine on the palate with acidity that lifts the black berried fruit above the oak and slight herbal nuances. Cassis and Ribena come forth against tannins that are gritty but well woven into the wine. Drink now and will cellar for a further 9-10 years.
