Sidewood 777 Pinot Noir 2022

Share

One of three single clone Pinot Noir variations that Sidewood has made a specialty of the house. Each demands specific attention, here 30% whole bunch and much the same whole berry, wild fermented then matured in 15% new oak. There’s a lot going on in the glass, with a certain earthiness in the profile, cherry and chocolate, as well as a faint petrichor character. It all makes for a fascinating exploration for anyone under the Pinot spell. And even better side by side with the other two single clone iterations in the range. Limited release.
