Skuttlebutt Shiraz Cabernet Sauvignon 2023

The price point is spot on for affordable everyday drinking. So, too, the classic Aussie red blend with its approachability and with a noteworthy tannin presence, it’s a wine that can take time out at the table. It’s not shy. Black cherry, plum, earth, leaves, sage and wild herbs fill the aroma. Cabernet seems to be an almost equal partner with the emergence of a strong herbal thread amid the cherry-plum fruits and spices. A marked, herbal-edged quality is there on the finish with acacia, briar and leaf.
