Ah, smell the flowers! So pretty. Spring and citrus blossom scents scream Eden Valley in this ’21 Riesling. It’s good to see or, rather smell, such a strong regional message in a wine. A riot of lifted florals is joined by the scent of grapefruit, citrus, musk and orange peel. Lively and brisk, citrus and florals flow freely across the palate. The maker shows a good understanding of the regional style, even down to the fruit tingle touch of citrus to close. Good drinking now but won’t argue against further medium ageing.
