Sordo Barolo Rocche di Castiglione 2019

Share

This revered vineyard in the Castiglione Falletto commune is renowned for its initially reserved nature, and that’s exactly what happens in this vintage. It’s a big, muscly style, though always discreetly behaved. Dried flowers, black tea, maybe even a note of sage, perhaps a meaty sense as well, all have their say, adding to a raised awareness of just how powerful this wine is. Great future.
