The Lane Pinot Gris 2022

Share

An easy-to-get-to-know gris that promotes both texture and a generous level of aromatics and summer stone fruits. Grown at 335m, it also brings that cool climate spiciness we often associate with the grape. Aromas in the baked pear and apple spectrum with white nectarine and lychee. Showing its best in its youth, it also reveals its food matching credentials by launching into an unexpected richness of texture, no doubt assisted by an obvious degree of residual sugar (4.5g/L). All up, there’s quite a bit happening in this pleasant, versatile young gris.
