A both powerful and lifted aromatic aesthetic. Grilled nectarine, melon, grilled nuts, lemon pith and rind. Air unlocks some leesy dough notes adding interest and complexity, and there’s a substratum of cedar present throughout. The palate is round and textural with good concentration – fine cedar, grilled nuts, peach skin, Meyer lemon, melon. The acid shines here, living up to its important role of curtailing any heft. It’s pithy, firm and elongating – resulting in good length and a vigorous finish.
