The 2021 Old Block Shiraz is a charmer with its multi-layered opening of potpourri, blackberry, chocolate and dark cherry with gentle earthy tones and well integrated oak. Mid weight with chalky acidity providing a vibrant, streamlined core of cherry compote and licorice all sorts flavours well backed by chalky tannins to finish. A more approachable vintage that is about to fire.
