Stonier Hillcrest Chardonnay 2024

Only a 100 dozen made, like all the range that now sits in much smaller quantities. The site is located in Shoreham on volcanic soils, north facing with high elevation.  Alive with lemonade fruit, nashi pear and pomelo. Some steely notes due its lack of new oak, with pumice and raw sesame seed. Succulent with pitching acidity and arch of tangy lemon curd. This is your Chardonnay for amping you up and getting psyched, it’s strung with tension and drive.  Crunchy enough to go with raw seafood, pickled ginger and wasabi. High spirited and full of energy, this is highly addictive. Drink now or cellar for 5-8 years further.
