Straight Up by Phillip Moraghan Alpine Valleys Pinot Noir 2021

Share

The Alpine Valleys can a very good source of quality Pinot Noir and over the years I’ve seen local wines drinking well at close to ten years of age. There is plenty of Pinot character here thanks to layers of dark cherry and beef broth aromas with gently toasty oak all working well together. It’s a finer, elegant and light weight style defined by its crisp acidity and gentle tannins as it builds a delicious array of earthy, spicy flavours through to a supple finish. Enjoy with crispy duck pancakes.
