If you are immersing yourself in a journey through the iconic wines of Australia this should be a compulsory pitstop. The winery was founded in 1860 and marsanne is their speciality. This wine is truly showcasing its full potential with great concentration and an exceptional level of complexity, the latter purely achieved through bottle age.
Aromas of beeswax, toast and grilled pineapple capture the attention first, but there is still a great deal of apricot and lemon zest. The palate is warm and enveloping with cumquat marmalade, spiced quince and a lovely nuttiness, nonetheless fresh.

Born and raised in Naples, Italy, Andrea came to Australia in 2013 after graduating with an environmental science degree. After a short apprenticeship at 121 BC, Sydney’s ground-breaking gem for Lo-Fi Italian wines, and a few months with the Lotus Group, Andrea moved to Melbourne and reunited with Movida. He’s been curating the highly regarded Wine List at Movida Melbourne, including one of the country's finest Spanish selections, for the past 3 years while studying for the WSET diploma.
