A Clare Valley and Coonawarra blend that leads with true regional typicity. Led by blackberries, Acai and stems of rosemary. There is a herbal hemp and wild thyme edge that yields to more ripe blackberries and cassis fruit on the palate. Tannins are sturdy and add shoulders to the wine that will ensure it ages well. This is a very well priced wine, perfect for T Bone steaks and black pepper sauce. Nicely firm, fruity and finishes dry. Clare and Coonawarra should play more together. Drink now or cellar for another 5-8 years.
