This is the most stylish medium-bodied red from the Wrattonbully vineyard. Despite the cool season, this variety shows good fruit intensity on a lighter frame. Bright and red with ruby crimson hues, the nose is delightfully scented with a mix of red fruits and violets. The medium-bodied palate shows good fruit concentration and delivers an effortless, almost languid finish. Chalky tannins are evident, and the oak is deliberately understated, though 20% is new and plays an important role in the wine’s structure.
