The Group The Bask Cabernet Sauvignon 2020

Share

A good looking McLaren Vale Cabernet Sauvignon here that will please fans of the variety. It starts out with that typical sonic boom of dark McLaren Vale fruit that hits you like a freight train – blackcurrants on steroids before it descends into more typical leafy cedar with toasty oak never far from view. That is then followed by a chunky palate thanks to oak and chewy tannins combining with more dark fruits and then a bit of asparagus to finish. Roast lamb over charcoal will work a treat.
