The Lane Adelaide Hills Chardonnay 2023

Share

Fab price for a mighty enjoyable, drink-now Chardonnay that ticks so many of the right boxes. Sunny, mid-yellow colour in the glass, goes on to reveal lifted aromas in ripe pear, melon, citrus and spiced apple. There’s a delightful spiciness at play here in tune with the pear and apple that goes on to light up the palate. It’s warm, rich and full of flavour – just the ticket for this approaching winter and heavier food matching possibilities. Others might disagree, but I wouldn’t be inclined to age any further, enjoy the moment!
