Thistledown Wines Our Fathers Special Reserve Barossa Shiraz 2023

As with their Riesling, all profits from this excellent Barossa Shiraz go to charity. Sourced from vineyards in the Ebenezer sub-region and Eden Valley. The colour is a dark maroon, with a vibrant red rim. We have aromas of aniseed, black olives, blackberries, plums, spices, herbs, black cherries, cocoa powder and truffles. There is good focus, direction, and bright acidity, with a long and lingering finish, and fine tannins. A most impressive and generously flavoured Shiraz, destined to offer enjoyment over the next ten to fifteen years.
