Ulithorne Dona Shiraz McLaren Vale 2022

A fine McLaren Vale Shiraz which has spent more than a year maturing in older French oak, this is excellent value. A deep red/maroon hue, the nose offers an array of aromas including red fruits, warm earth, cloves, cranberries, mulberries, chocolate and smoked meats. There is a hint of gentle oak integration also evident. Ripe and richly flavoured, there is very good length and intensity here, through to satiny tannins. The chocolate notes come to the fore on the palate. A bold style for enjoying over the next ten to twelve years.
