Ulithorne Specialis Tempranillo Graciano Grenache 2019

Share

This is Ulithorne’s shot at the classic style of the wines from Rioja in Spain. It’s not a bad effort but it also feels like it is at the peak of its powers and best enjoyed sooner rather than later. Right now there are plenty of soft, cuddly, ripe jubey fruit aromas with some earthy notes to add interest. The palate is more savoury with meaty and spicy elements, and firm tannins, red fruits just holding on. Best enjoyed with little bites of meaty tapas.
