Voyager Estate Chardonnay 2019

In recent years Voyager Estate has done no wrong and remains home to one of the best value premium chardonnays from Margaret River. After the bold and exceptional 2018 vintage this is a more restrained and subtle wine thanks to the cool season. There is a delicious brightness and freshness to the fruit, which is more in the melon and citrus spectrum than usual, with finely balanced oak in support. The palate is then generous and defined by its tangy acidity which drives a lingering finish. Voyager Estate is known for the elegance of its chardonnays which this wine takes that to a new level while promising delicious drinking over the next 8 years, preferably with some local marron.
