Warramunda Estate Chardonnay 2024

The Estate Chardy sees whole bunch pressing before fermentation in oak, and nine months aging in new (30%) and older French oak. From the Coldstream Hills sub-region, the colour is an attractive pale lemon. With bright flavours throughout, it is fresh and energetic, with notes of citrus, notably lemons, florals, pears, nectarines and a hint of honeycomb. Linear in style, there is good focus, vibrant acidity and a lingering finish, which will surely help to ensure it drinks beautifully for the next five to eight years.
