Welland Valley & Valley Barossa Shiraz 2023

Share

Starts with an inviting – and brilliant – purple colour, followed by wave after wave of equally inviting regional Barossa aromas. Blackberry, purple and blue fruits, chocolate, cedary oak and loads of spice. It’s very Barossa. Fruit has been sourced from growers in both the Barossa hills and the valley floor, an interweaving of textures and flavours that works well here, especially with the smart use of oak, it’s discreet but does a fine job. Supple tannins make for a smooth, all round drinkability with the opportunity for further short- term cellaring.
