Welland Wines Valley & Valley Shiraz 2023

Share

Fruit is sourced for the Valley & Valley bottling from both Barossa and Eden Valley. Matured in 20% new oak. Satsuma plum, quince paste and dark cherry skin. There is a backbone of mocha spice and granulated coffee. An even flowing line of acidity and meaty full bodied palate. The wine is satisfying and full without being warm or overt. Some rich oak tones of cinnamon and maple round out a solid wine with plenty of flavour for your dollar. This is ideal bbq territory, perhaps with a sticky honey glaze or chipotle sauce. Drink now or will cellar for another 3-5 years.
