Only 800 bottles produced here, and made from the clear juice of pinot noir from just six rows of shaded hillside vines. Beautiful copper colour with vibrant aromatics of mandarin skin, honeysuckle & nectarine. The palate is incredibly complex and waxy upfront, with an excellent framework backed up by refreshing acidity with saline characters and bright red cherry fruits. This would be a lot of fun to match food with, the ultimate hand-sell plus a great story to boot – bring on some pork belly with baked red apple.
