Wills Domain Eightfold Chardonnay 2022

Boasts all the racy, edgy appeal of youth. Cool citrus fruit aromas with white peach and almond meal. Love the build-up in flavour as the wine progresses on the palate, exploring lemon, grapefruit, lime cordial notes, a touch of quince paste here, some lovely charry notes there. Tying it altogether rather nicely is a warm, buttery creaminess, not too much, but enough to add that extra spice of interest. The clone is Gingin and the wine spent 10 months in French oak barriques. It was time well spent. Bouncy, lively fresh acidity keeps things on the move
