Dalrymple Vineyards Cave Block Chardonnay 2019

Share

One of the leading vineyards in Northern Tasmania. This is a very low yielding site which contributes to wines of tremendous depth and power. The fruit is all handpicked and whole bunch pressed to a mix of old and new French oak barriques and puncheons for about 11 months. Getting the combination of oaks just right is so important and, in this case, it’s been nailed. It’s typically linear and has just a touch of struck match minerality that sets it off brilliantly. Lovely wine.
