Wirra Wirra Amator Nouveau 2020

Share

Thanks to our friends in Beaujolais the Nouveau style is taking off – bright, fresh and fruity styles that still smell a bit like fermenting fruit as they hit the market as soon after vintage as possible.

Wirra Wirra has got on the Nouveau train and have crafted what is a slinky, even sexy little wine, that explodes with youthful vitality with fruits reminiscent of summer berries, particularly cranberry, with touches of tar, dried herbs and spice. It is a fun wine that would suit a gentle chilling but also has some soft tannins that would make it a great match to a whole range of foods, from a bucket of prawns through to a Mezze platter.
