Woods Crampton Barossa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2020

Share

We all know the Barossa Valley does great shiraz but a little known fact is that the cabernet sauvignon (and grenache) can be delicious too. This version has all the power and weight of a chunky Barossan Shiraz. There is mulberry, blueberry and chocolate fruits with some dried herbs thrown in – thank you cabernet. It’s then quite fleshy and rich; those sweet fruits making it very easy to drink as does supple tannins and good length. It’s an old-fashioned Aussie dry red that delivers plenty of flavour.
