From a cool and extended growing season, 2017 vintage has shown the proof is in the pudding, or the hands of those winemakers that stood on tender hooks whilst fruit reached optimum ripeness weeks later than on average. Here fresh pineapple, yuzu and golden peaches are buoyant and full of life. Bouncy lemon skin, cultured cream and roast cashew linger. 25% new French oak just cradles the edges, a smooth gliding sheen of vanilla and almond.
